PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

A great visionary, mass leader & social activist Hon. MLA Shri. Bachhubhau Kadu, with his few colleagues established Veer Baji Prabhu Kreeda v Vyayam Mandal on 20th Dec. 1993. He dedicating his life for upliftment of the poor, handicapped & suffering people from chronic disease of the rural of Achalpur and Chandur Bazar. At present, Veer Baji Prabhu Kreeda v Vyayam Mandal is imparting education through various institutions of district - Amravati of Maharashtra.

It is my immense pleasure and privilege to introduce my college. College has been established and run by Veer Bajiprabhu Kreeda v Vyayam Mandal, Belora one of the premiere educational institute in Chandur Bazar Tahsil with one senior college. Chhtrapati Shivaji Kala Mahavidyalaya has been established in June 2000 at Asegaon purna, chandur bazaar Tehsil of Amravati District in Maharashtra State. This is the only senior college of Veer Baji Prabhu Kreeda v Vyayam Mandal with Arts faculty. The college is Grant-in-aid college and permanently affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University,Amaravti and also got 2F & 12B affiliation from the U.G.C.in 2014. The college is aiming to educate youth, woman & members from weaker sections in Asegaon purna and surrounding rural area. We are making efforts to attain these motives by improving our own standards. We have been working tirelessly to produce ideal student, volunteers & citizens who will whole heartedly contribute to national development. The college is always focusing on quality education along with quality and persistently making efforts to impart higher education to youth residing in Asegaon purna & surrounding region which is our mission. With this mission the college offers a wide range of programmes for the students. At present 350 to 400 students are in the flow of higher education. These students are being trained in academic, co-curricular, extra curricular, extension programmes and sport activities. The college has a large and specious campus area of 4 acres. In our college we have very good facilities of class rooms, laboratories, central library, play grounds, sports, career guidance cell, competitive examination guidance, financial assistance to needy & poor students through Palak Yojna. Student redressal cell, NSS and other activities for multi faceted development of student. We are very serious in providing quality education with exposure to various opportunities. We also promote social responsibilities and citizenship roles among our students through variety of extension activities.

I am very proud to acknowledge our quality and young teaching and non-teaching staff. To aim at overall personality development of students, our teachers are actively engaged in students centric various activities. We also cherish our alumni resources at their respective work. We carefully plan & execute all the academic development programmes and extension activities in tune with the mission & goals through management's active participation. I think, we are doing well to create discipline among the student in order to make them aware of their responsibilities as respectable citizen with the active & enthusiastic support & cooperation of our teaching, non teaching staff & management.
